Meet Hannah Vestal, LMHC, LPC
I’m Hannah Seidman, LMHC, LPC, a licensed trauma therapist providing virtual therapy to adults across Wisconsin, New York, and Iowa. I specialize in working with individuals whose past experiences continue to shape how safe, connected, and grounded they feel in their lives today.
You may be coming to therapy because you notice patterns that feel hard to explain—or harder to change.
And I’m here to walk with you through that process.
Who I Work with
I work with adults who are seeking depth-oriented trauma therapy and are ready to explore the roots of their emotional and relational struggles.
Many of my clients identify with experiences such as:
Ongoing effects of childhood or adult trauma
Sexual abuse or boundary violations
Chronic shame, self-criticism, or emotional dysregulation
Relationship difficulties rooted in past experiences
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
Sessions are offered virtually, allowing you to engage in therapy from a space that feels safe and accessible to you. I’m drawn to work that involves sitting with complexity and helping people feel less alone in experiences that are often difficult to put into words.
My Therapeutic Approach
My work is rooted in trauma-focused, attachment-informed therapy. I approach treatment with the understanding that your responses make sense in the context of what you have lived through. Symptoms are not signs of weakness—they are adaptations that once helped you survive.
In our work together, therapy may involve:
Understanding how past experiences shaped your emotional and relational patterns
Exploring core beliefs about safety, trust, and self-worth
Gently processing memories, emotions, or narratives that have been avoided
Developing greater emotional regulation and nervous system stability
Creating new emotional experiences that support healing and integration
I use evidence-based, exposure-informed therapies, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), to help you safely process trauma at a pace that feels manageable.
This work is collaborative and responsive to your needs. Therapy is not about reliving the past—it’s about integrating it in a way that allows you to live more fully in the present, with greater agency, clarity, and self-compassion.
